Whitehall Gardens

Step into timeless elegance at Whitehall House & Gardens in Louisville, KY. Known simply as Whitehall, this historic mansion, famous for its white exterior and elegant reception hall, along with its expansive gardens, creates an unforgettable setting for weddings, corporate gatherings, and private celebrations.

Inside, the mansion offers classic sophistication with space for up to 200 guests for a cocktail reception or 100 for a seated dinner, with additional seating available on the porches. Outside, the beautifully preserved gardens and grounds provide a breathtaking backdrop for open-air or tented events.

Garden Court

Built in 1906, today this classic three-story Beaux Arts home is owned by the Louisville Seminary and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The first floor contains more than 4,000 square feet of space available for rental by members of the Seminary community or general public for weddings, conferences, retreats, and social gatherings. From small meetings to full-scale wedding ceremonies and receptions, your event expectations will be met with complete satisfaction.

The rich woodwork and marble fireplaces lend warmth to breakfast, luncheon, and dinner meetings. The high ceilings and carved grand staircase provide a perfect backdrop for weddings, receptions, and special occasions. Outdoors, at the heart of the fourteen-acre estate, which overlooks Cherokee Park, are the formal rose gardens, colonnade, pool and arbors created by the Olmsted Brothers, son and stepson of Fredrick Law Olmsted. Spring, summer, and fall, this idyllic setting is available to hosts who wish to welcome their guest alfresco. Waterfront Botanical Gardens

The Waterfront Botanical Gardens was started by Botanica, an umbrella organization for the local gardening community started in 1993 to help enlighten, entertain, and educate the community about the botanical world. In 2001, Botanica learned that it was the beneficiary of a trust established by member Helen Harrigan, a local gardener with a desire to see a botanical garden and conservatory built in Louisville. Helen’s gift reshaped the focus of this organization, and we set about our work to create what has become Louisville’s Waterfront Botanical Gardens.

Gardens of Ray Eden

This extraordinary, graceful experience will start with two stone columns at entrance with black lion sculptures on top on each side, on watch, with black wrought iron estate gates.  Then you will be in view of a 126-year-old Country Gentleman’s estate home. Originally there was a two-story log home built sometime in the 1800’s. Some of its remains were reconstructed on the estate as a one-story cottage. This estate embarks on a most magnificent 12-acre site. You will enjoy a spring fed lake, nursery, with a variety of trees and shrubs and many designed gardens.

The Woods At Cedar Springs

We are Louisville’s Newest Wedding Venue & Event Space. The Woods at Cedar Springs is the ideal setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony. Sitting on top of 10 acres near the Bernheim Forest, it radiates a refined Southern Kentucky charm with every attention to detail. From our picturesque entry doors that greet you upon arrival, to our three industrial chandelier’s that catch your eye the moment you walk in – our main space does not lack detail. Our event space is one of the largest in Louisville, with an indoor seated capacity of 450 and outdoor capacity of 300.
